Private Rented Sector - People's Rights and Wrongs

This is an introductory course for people who are new to working in homelessness in Scotland.  It is a course useful to people in all areas of the social sector - from Housing Officers to Social Workers to Health Professionals.

Full day - virtual session

This looks at the Private Rented Sector - rights, good practice, changes and evictions.  The course is for anybody who wants to know about the PRS Bill and how it is working in Scotland since it changed at the end of 2017.

An Introduction to PIE (Psychologically Informed Environments)

If people are moving into tenancies or have hit a crisis, what is available to help?  How do you access money or other help available? available?  Do people have rights? Can you appeal any claims and how?

Half day (3 hours) - virtual

PIE is more than just the environment, but a way to enhance your way of working to suits the needs of who you work for / with.  This course explores what it is and if it's the model for you  in the future.
